Does CopperCraft have the ability to manufacture custom designed pieces?
Yes. CopperCraft started as a custom sheet metal fabricator and still retains that ability today.
Can I get a different stamp or rosette on my conductor head?
Yes. CopperCraft has several standard profiles to choose from. Please contact our excellent customer service team at 800-482-2723 for selections.
Can I get a different/custom base on my spire?
Yes, custom bases are available for almost all roof applications and pitches.
Do I need lightning protection added to my spire?
CopperCraft recommends adding lightning protection to your spire if your home is the tallest structure in the immediate vicinity.
Does my spire come with mounting hardware?
Yes. All spires ship with mounting brackets, rivets and screws.
Can I prevent my copper from turning green?
The natural patina process of copper can be prevent temporarily by applying a clear acrylic finish to the metal. However, the sun’s UV rays will eventually break down the coating causing it to flake away leaving your copper exposed to the elements once again. CopperCraft does not recommend the use of copper coatings
Does CopperCraft only work with copper?
No. CopperCraft works with many sheet materials including, but not limited to, zinc, aluminum, steel and etc.
Can I order direct from CopperCraft?

No. However, CopperCraft will you produce your order as quickly as possible.
How long will it take for me to receive a quote for a custom product?
Depending on the intricacies of the product, CopperCraft generally issues custom quotes within 72 hours.
What products does CopperCraft manufacture?
CopperCraft manufactures a complete line of architectural sheetmetal products and distributes nationwide and around the world from its 35,000 SF manufacturing facility in Keller, Texas. CopperCraft was established with the goal of preserving the high quality and craftsmanship found in old world metalworking while enhancing techniques with computerized layout, cutting and forming. This insures quality, consistency and competitive pricing.
What outlet sizes are available with CopperCraft conductor heads?
CopperCraft conductor heads are available with 2”x3” rectangle, 3”x4” rectangle, 4”x5” rectangle, 3” square, 4” square, 5” square, 6” square, 3” round, 4” round, 5” round, and 6” round outlets.
What styles of Louver Dormers are available?
CopperCraft offers Half Round, Gable, Round Top and Eyebrow Dormers. All of these standard styles come in a broad range of sizes or we can custom fabricate to fit your needs.
What product testing is done?
CopperCraft completes: Quality assurance through our professional engineering staff. Structural analysis and certification. Air flow and pressure drop analysis. Ventilation and free area calculation. Water penetration test ASTM E-331 and wind load test Chamber ASTM E-330.
