What products does CopperCraft create?
CopperCraft manufactures a complete line of architectural products, including dormers, cupolas, spires, gutters, and roof systems, that are distributed throughout the United States and around the world. Computerized layout, cutting and forming combine with experienced hand-crafted fabrication to deliver high-performing products for the most discriminating of applications.
Are CopperCraft products tested?
Yes. CopperCraft quality is assured by our experienced craftsmen and professional engineering staff. As appropriate, our products are tested using techniques such as structural analysis and certification, air flow and pressure drop analysis, ventilation and free area calculations, ASTM E-331 water penetration testing and Chamber ASTM E-330 wind load testing.
Can I order directly from CopperCraft?

Can CopperCraft create custom-designed pieces?
Yes. Decades of custom fabrication experience qualify us to execute custom designs.
How long does it take to receive a custom quote?
Custom quotes are generally provided within 72 hours of request. Time may vary based on project scope and intricacy.
Why does copper turn green? Can this be prevented?
Over time, copper develops a green layer known as patina. This natural process may be temporarily prevented by adding a clear acrylic finish on top of the metal, but UV sun exposure will break down the finish over time. For this reason, we recommend that copper be left uncoated.
Does CopperCraft only work with copper?
No. CopperCraft products can also be fabricated using Freedom Gray copper, aluminum, zinc and steel sheet materials. Available materials are listed by product on our website and in the catalog.
Can a different stamp or rosette be added to a conductor head?
Yes. Contact customer service at 800-477-0966 to select a style from one of our standard profiles.
Are conductor head outlets offered in different sizes?
Conductor heads are available with 2” x 3”, 3” x 4” and 4” x 5” rectangular outlets, 3”, 4”, 5”, 6” square outlets and 3”, 4”, 5” and 6” round outlets.
What louver dormer styles are available?
CopperCraft offers half round, gable, arched, round top and eyebrow dormers. These standard styles are offered in a range of sizes. Louvers can also be custom fabricated to fit your project.
Can I specify a different base for a spire?
Yes. Custom bases are available for nearly all roof applications and pitches.
Should I add lightning protection to a spire?
We recommend that customers add lightning protection if their home or building is taller than those in the immediate area.
Are spires delivered with mounting hardware?
Yes. All spires are delivered with mounting brackets, rivets and screws.
